Mother's Day is coming on May 12, and if you're looking for just the right eatery for brunch, Chicagoland is a great place to be. Our real estate agents are excited to share some of their favorite brunch destinations in the city.

You'll find perfect brunch spots in dozens of Chicagoland neighborhoods. No matter where in the city you live, chances are there's a top-notch restaurant for Mother's Day brunch nearby.

  • Cafe Fourteen - 300 N Northwest Hwy, Palatine, IL 60067
    Cafe Fourteen is a community staple in Palatine, a northwestern suburb of Chicago, where it's been serving breakfast and lunch since 1991. It's a classic American eatery with waffles, omelets and sandwiches that have earned a devoted following. The pancakes, French toast and crepes are also quite tempting. With its friendly service and comfy diner-style booths, Cafe Fourteen is a mom-approved favorite.

  • Passero - 3 S Evergreen Ave, Arlington Heights, IL 60005
    You'll find several notable eateries in the Chicago suburb of Arlington Heights, but Passero is a front-runner when it comes to Mother's Day brunch. This Trattoria-inspired American Restaurant offers wide-ranging options including some unique offerings as well as staples from the breakfast and lunch menu. Oven-baked ciabatta French toast is a highlight, along with fresh-squeezed orange or passion fruit mimosas.

  • Argot - 2349 N Lincoln Ave, Chicago, IL 60614
    A fun neighborhood restaurant in Lincoln Park, the French bistro-inspired Argot is perfect. A relatively new eatery, this hip spot just opened its doors earlier this year and they've already garnered some great reviews from diners and the local press alike. The menu blends French techniques and American ingredients for unique takes on favorites like quiche, eggs Benedict and tart tartine.

  • Omega Restaurant & Bakery - 9100 W Golf Rd, Niles, IL 60714
    A family-owned restaurant and bakery for more than 35 years, Omega Restaurant & Bakery is a picture-perfect brunch spot in the Chicago suburb of Niles. The fresh-out-of-the-oven baked goods here are simply exceptional, and the restaurant side of the operation is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Omelets, crepes and scrambles are breakfast standouts, and Omega Bakery typically offers a-la-carte Sunday brunch specials, including roast leg of lamb with mint jelly.

  • The Duck Inn - 2701 S Eleanor St, Chicago, IL 60608
    Located in the Bridgeport neighborhood on Chicago's South Side, The Duck Inn is a solid choice for a great meal. Typically open for dinner and drinks after 5 pm, they open up early every Sunday for brunch starting at 10:30 a.m., and you can count on some great specials for Mother's Day. The Duck Inn's typical Sunday brunch menu includes chicken and dumplings, orange creamsicle French toast, rotisserie duck hash and some of the best sticky buns you're ever likely to taste.

  • 'Atta Girl - 2829 W Armitage Ave, Chicago, IL 60647
    Opened in 2023, 'Atta Girl has gained a reputation as a cozy date night spot in Logan Square. But this French-inspired bar and bistro also serves excellent brunch on Saturday and Sunday, making it an ideal choice for Mother's Day. The a-la-carte brunch menu at 'Atta Girl includes tasty offerings like eggs, griddle cakes, Janie's Farm cheddar grits and honey-roasted carrots. The dining room vibe is warm and nostalgic, and the service is on point.
