With the green river and one of the largest St. Patrick's Day parades in America, it's not a holiday that tends to go unnoticed around here. You'll find big and small celebrations taking place across every Chicagoland neighborhood.

You'll get one of the best views of the city at this year's St. Patrick's Day River Dyeing Viewing Party at the Royal Sonesta Chicago Downtown. Taking place on the 39th-story penthouse level, the party includes a breakfast buffet and open bar complete with green beer and Irish-themed cocktails.
